We ended up shooting this engagement session on one of those 95+ degree days we’ve been getting in Chicago lately. Luckily, Courtney & Israel are from Puerto Rico, so they weren’t intimidated by a little heat. I’m so glad that they braved the weather, too, because this was the first time I was able to meet them! As we wandered around the lily pond and the Peggy Notebaert grounds, I discovered that they’re bubbly, cheerful, and so easy to get along with…as you can hopefully tell from the photos.

You’ll see them again soon, because they’re getting married in just a few weeks!
