Mary and Ryan are incredible people to hang out with. Our shoot involved stories about an ER trip for Mary in the morning (yet she was still full of energy for the shoot!), a discussion about Ryan’s Clark Kent glasses, some trekking in Jimmy Choos, and a random encounter with a gorgeous willow tree (one of my favorite things in life).

And it was wonderful how everything just seemed to fall in place during the shoot, including when we were thwarted in our plan to shoot around the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool. Instead, we visited the gardens around the Conservatory, which was a blessing in disguise. Mary and Ryan are going to have a formal garden element to their wedding at Armour House in September, so it tied in beautifully!
