Engagement sessions in the city are always an adventure. We not only encountered heavy traffic and the typical crazy Chicagoan who stopped us to tell stories, but we also ran into someone fishing off the Riverwalk (who caught a 3ft fish!). Close off the day with a volleyball tournament at North Ave Beach and a bit of cold lake water, and we had the full city experience. Luckily, Sarah and Matt are the roll-with-the-punches type, and we had such a blast (if you can’t tell from all the smiles and laughter…). I was a little sad that the session ended, to be honest, but luckily, I get to see them again in a few weeks for their Cantigny wedding. Time to start counting down!
