Wende & Justin were one of the winners of my engagement session giveaway last month, and I’m so glad they entered. They were sweethearts, and so gracious to let me shoot in their home.

For this session, I really wanted to do a lifestyle shoot… much less posed, and more “a day in the life of.” You know, something a little different. Wende had the great idea to incorporate cooking into the shoot, since she and Justin like to cook together, so I suggested cupcakes…. and we went from there. We even had a little bit of a cupcake fight at the end of the shoot (or was it just practice for the wedding day?).

Oh, and there might be just a few too many pictures of their dog Carly. Couldn’t help it. Cutest dog alive.
