Magazine-style session book

I’m a bookaholic.  I’ve never met a library, bookstore, or booksale I didn’t like. If you walk into my house, you’ll notice there are jam-packed bookcases in every room but the bathroom and kitchen (my husband wishes I were joking).  To me, nothing is better than a physical book in hand, unless, of course, it’s a photo book. Which brings me to the point of the post.

While I love my flushmount and fine art wedding albums, I wanted something a little more casual for family, portrait, and engagement sessions.  Something that you could literally thumb through, like a book or magazine.

I looked at many companies and tried several samples, but I was finding the pages either too thin, or too thick, or too shiny. Nothing was jumping out at me. I was starting to get discouraged.  In fact, with this sample, I just grabbed an easily accessible recent engagement session, and speeded through the layout in no time flat, figuring it wasn’t going to be worth investing a lot of effort.

I was so wrong.

It’s hard to really show books and albums in photos, so you’ll have to take my word that these magazine-style books have beautiful matte, heavy stock paper.  The colors are vibrant without being overwhelming.  The simple layouts of the pages the photos to be the star of the show, and it is just addicting to flip through the book.  Seriously, I must have looked through my copy about 12 times when I first got it in the mail.  This was exactly what I was envisioning.

I wish I found these years ago, but I’m so happy to be offering them now.  If you’re interested in having your engagement, portrait, or family session printed into book form, shoot me an email at, and I’ll send more information.

Would you be able to do this with a hard cover instead?
