One of the reasons I take on less than 25 weddings a year is so that I have some time to get to know my couples. By the time my clients’ weddings roll around, I am genuinely excited for them to wed. Doesn’t matter if they do it in spandex or at a dive-bar… as long as I’m surrounded by happy people, I’m a happy photographer. In fact, one of my favorite parts of my job is seeing how people make their wedding day their own, whether through traditions, decor, or location.

With that said, every so often, a wedding comes along that is exactly my style. It’s a fortuitous mix of design, venue, and personality types. I imagine at these weddings, I walk around like the heart-eyed emoji as I soak in all the details.

I definitely was googly-eyed at Sam & Job’s wedding. That dress! Those flowers! Armour House! Amazing Mexican traditions (fun fact: Mexico is my favorite vacay spot)! The deep, rich burgundy accents!

Ahhh!

I could go on and on… but check it out for yourself. Exceptionally long blog post below, but it’s oh-so-worth the scroll.
