Favorites of 2010 :: Getting Ready
I’ve spent way more time than I care to admit trying to narrow down my 2010 favorites so that they’d all fit in one post. It’s not happening.
I can’t help it! I had so many AMAZING weddings this year, complete with even more amazing people, that it’ll break my heart to not show everything I have picked out at this point. As I went through all my weddings from this past year, I can’t believe how quickly this year flew by. This was my first year really perusing wedding photography, with the second half of the year being full-time weddings. And full-time weddings it was… I think at some point during the summer I thought in tulle, DJ soundtracks, and bouquets! And I’m starting 2011 with even more weddings booked than I had last year, so I’m sure it’s going to be just as nuts.
You know what? Bring it on.
Next year’s recap posts might even be MORE epic. Although, I’m not sure that’s possible.
We’ll start off the recaps with one of my favorite parts of the wedding day… the getting ready stage. I absolutely love the giddy atmosphere found right before most weddings. As an old theater girl, it reminds me a lot of the backstage vibe right before opening night, and that was always the most fun.
