For me, Brian and Allyson had one of the most memorable weddings of 2011. Not only because they’re good friends of mine, but because their after-party was at Hairbanger’s Ball. In my book, they get quadruple cool points for going to a concert mere hours after they got married. The couple to goes to shows together, stays together, right? Of course, there were other fantastic things about their wedding day:
- I love that they chose to get married in Bloomington, rather than their current home of Chicagoland. They met at ISU, so it was fun to take pictures around significant buildings at their old school.
- Their families. I already knew Brian’s family, but it was so wonderful meeting Allyson’s. I love them all.
- The big smiles they both had at the altar. Seriously. The whole time.
- Brian’s mom’s chocolate chip cookies at the rehearsal dinner. They don’t know it, but I can bribed to do pretty much anything with those cookies.
Congrats Brian & Allyson! Thank you so much for having me photograph the wedding; I throughly enjoyed hanging out with you alllll day!
