Beach weddings are a dream. Not living in California anymore, it’s not something I get to shoot very often, so when Eileen told me she was getting married on the beach, I was quite excited. There is just something so calming and relaxed about saying vows with waves crashing in the background and sand underfoot. Of course, after the ceremony, Eileen and Stewart kicked it up a notch at the reception with one heck of a party. Not only did Eileen’s students (she teaches Irish dancing) do a few dances, but then Eileen’s siblings and Stewart, and then Eileen got out on the dance floor to show of their Irish moves. It was pretty amazing. I love love love when people incorporate things that make them unique into their day, and this day definitely screamed Stewart and Eileen all over it.
