Jessica would be a knockout in a garbage bag, but I’m still surprised that JT didn’t emulate a cartoon (you know, jaw to the floor) when he first saw Jessica in her dress. It was absolutely made for her.
Of course, Jessica and her dress were just one of the many wonderfully beautiful things that day: The ceremony at the St. James Chapel in the Quigley Center was a classic hidden Chicago gem, and the Galleria Marchetti reception was straight out of a movie. And speaking of movies… the reception. Oh boy. There were handstands, Dirty Dancing lifts, and Cinco De Mayo mustaches and sombreros (and no stunt doubles). Best man Ashish’s speech was also one of the best we’ve heard, ever, and should have won an Academy Award.
It was definitely a day to remember! Congrats Jessica & JT!
