As I put the images for this post together, I realize I might have gone a little overboard. But, Kaitlin & Mike deserve a big post. Not only are they SUCH a fun couple, but their reception was one of the craziest I have to been to this year. Aside from their band, Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press, playing awesome covers that are not typical wedding fare, their guests were maniacs on the dancefloor (with Kaitlin & Mike in the midst of it, of course). By the end of the night, the line had blurred between the band and the guests, with people taking their turns on the mic. I loved it.
Add in some beautiful touches, such as Kaitlin wearing a family heirloom dress for the ceremony, and a Cubs jersey as a guestbook, and it was truly a day to remember.
