Wedding :: Kari & Greg

If you recognize some of the people in this post, it’s because Kari is the sister of my old friend Brian, whose wedding I shot last year. And, pay close attention, because I’ll be shooting Greg’s sister Liz’s wedding next year, so you’ll see some more familiar faces then. It’s always so amazing to shoot sibling weddings… not only is a huge honor, but I absolutely love going in and knowing the family members already (and maybe sneaking in a few hugs!).

Clearly, I’m a huge fan of both families involved in this wedding. I also love Kari and Greg, who were both absolutely beaming on their wedding day, more so than I’ve ever seen them before. And that’s why weddings are so great.

Another thing that I feel I should mention was that this was the first time I had been up in any of the major Chicago skyscrapers. I’m not afraid of heights of all (as most of my clients will attest to, as I usually end up climbing on things during engagement shoots), but looking straight down from the 95th floor from their Signature Room reception was a bit of a shock to the senses. Perfect for photographing Chicago though!

Anyway, big congrats to Kari and Greg, and I wish you many more smiles for years to come!
