I was so excited when Kristine contacted me about shooting her wedding. You see, groom Chris is the brother one of my past brides, so I already knew how awesome they were as a couple. I also knew Chris’ family, and was excited to see them again. After meeting with Kristine and her dad, got the sense that her family was equally as fantastic. And even better, since Kristine & Chris dated for so long, at the wedding, it already seemed like everyone was one big family.
Clearly, I adore Kristine and Chris, so much so that I almost cried along with the guests at their ceremony, but my favorite moments of the day were ones involving family. For instance, Kristine and her dad breaking out into a crazy dance halfway through the father/daughter dance. Or, the big wedding party dance circle that happened a few times during the reception (several members of the wedding party were family). Or even just the quite moment of Krystle, the soon-to-be-sister-in-law, doing Kristine’s makeup in the morning.
Coming from a large extended family myself, I know how great and special it is to have a close family, and I loved being able to capture that (along with all the awesome love and mushy stuff, of course).
