I’ve been dying to blog this wedding since I shot it.
It’s so easy to get caught up in making a wedding the biggest and best, but it was evident Mary and Ryan didn’t forget for a second that their wedding day was really about faith and joining their lives together, as they stressed to me the importance the ceremony had to them. That, along with the large role their family had in the wedding, shows what strong values they have as a couple. Clearly, I just love them.
Not nearly as important, but I also absolutely adored the style of the wedding (I AM a photographer, pretty things make me happy!). Mary’s adorable Kate Spade wedges, the gorgeous letterpress invites, and amazing centerpieces all shouted class and elegance.
And, as a side note, thanks to Mary and Ryan’s awesome family, one of my favorite family photos of all time was captured, with all the kids doing their own thing. Happy chaos is the best thing to photograph in my opinion.
Also, big thanks to Louie Abellera for second shooting with me and providing his awesome talent.
